Payroll Specialist - Remote Full Time

This position requires independent judgment within established guidelines while collaborating with the AskHR Payroll Manager as needed. Responsibilities

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payroll within assigned departments.
• Calculate payroll adjustments, including wages, PTO balances, and alternate rates.
• Perform W-4 and direct deposit maintenance and coordinate pay-related entries.
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy by working with timekeepers and managers.
• Train timekeepers and team members on Timekeeping software to ensure compliance.
• Analyze reports and data to provide ongoing payroll guidance as the designated Master Timekeeper.
• Clearly communicate errors and adjustments through Case Management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of timekeeping environment setups.
