- Consistent weekday schedule in a fast-paced, professional environment\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n
- Pre-operative assessment and preparation of patients, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and educating patients on the surgical process and post-operative care\n
- Providing post-anesthesia care, including monitoring vital signs, assessing pain levels, and administering medications as needed\n
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and families during the recovery process\n
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care, including charting and reporting as required\n
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects to continually refine processes and provide the best possible care\n
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care before and after surgical procedures\n
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members\n
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold clinical protocols\n
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and privacy standards\n\nQualifications : \n
- Active RN license in the state of Maryland\n
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience\n
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain)\n
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills\n
