Work Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM Hybrid schedule – 3 days onsite, 2 remote

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a large nonprofit religious organization that serves communities through schools, ministries, and outreach programs. This CONTRACT role provides the opportunity to support meaningful work in an organization with a long-standing history of service and education.

Job Description :

The Benefits Specialist will provide support in the administration and coordination of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and leave programs. This role will assist with compliance, vendor management, open enrollment, and employee inquiries. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable managing sensitive information while ensuring employees receive accurate and timely support.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as a point of contact for benefits-related questions, issues, and escalations with third-party vendors.
• Support compliance with federal and state regulations, including ACA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, and ADA.
• Assist with open enrollment activities, including vendor coordination and communication with employees.
• Review benefits documents, enrollment data, and invoices for accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR Operations to ensure leaves of absence and disability cases are processed appropriately.
• Support benefits-related projects and process improvements, including system updates and vendor transitions.
• Prepare and update communication materials and assist with employee education sessions.
