As a Security Officer - Government Site Patrol Driver in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Professional with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time Mon02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Tue02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Wed02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Thur02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM What You'll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. What We're Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
