Do you want to help define and build education programs to help keep Amazonians secure? As the leader of Amazon Security Learning, you will manage a team of passionate learning and training specialists focused on how to build measurable and impactful education programs.
You will work directly with business leaders across Amazon Security to identify educational needs including face to face efforts and digital program content.
This work includes understanding regulatory landscapes and how to prioritize security campaigns while measuring impact.
In this role, you will work closely with leaders across Amazon to develop learning and training requirements to help keep Amazon and our teams secure.
This work includes design strategies, metrics, and inspection mechanisms that the right content meets the security needs for the business.
Key job responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to lead a team focused on cross-functional initiatives to meet regulatory requirements. This includes designing content that helps to identify ways for Amazonians to understand key concepts as secure data handling and privacy.
This involves persona research, building a learning and training calendar, working with customers to understand technical requirements for key security needs, driving industry thought-leadership, and working with security and business teams to define new needs.
As the ideal candidate, you possess a business and technology background that enables you to lead and drive engagements across varied security organizations.
You have domain expertise in key security use cases, understand the challenges involved in training and measuring security outcomes, and are able to work backwards from customer requirements to suggest scalable solutions and programs.
You have the technical depth to articulate the needs for security. In addition, you have a good understanding of the security learning market trends, ecosystem, opportunities, and are passionate about building content that drives positive security behaviors.
You will need to be adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with teams across Amazon.

A day in the life of this role is working with your team to build compelling content, and building scalable programs and mechanisms to increase awareness and adoption of security-first behaviors at Amazon.
This means you practice a keen sense of ownership and know how to drive proactive engagement with customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in learning technology, program, or product management
- 7+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 7+ years of people management
- Experience with owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition; feature delivery and tradeoffs of a program need; project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple products simultaneous and meet deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with training platforms
- Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results in ambiguous problem spaces
- Strong understanding of instructional design and learning technology
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success
