Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Fire Inspector will be responsible for inspections of residential, commercial, industrial and other buildings during and after construction.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience in annual inspections with fire department in restaurants, factory, warehouse, and office environments.
- Ability to lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
- ICC Certification as Fire Inspector highly desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of state and local codes.
- Municipal experience highly desirable.
