Position Overview :
We are seeking a Licensed Social Worker - Chemical Dependency to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of substance abuse disorders, and a passion for helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety.
As a LSW, you will play a crucial role in providing counseling, support, and guidance to clients as they navigate the challenges of addiction recovery.
Responsibilities :
- Provide clinical supervision to all clinical staff. Coordinates activities, client caseload, and work assignments for staff.
- Schedule individual supervisory conferences for staff and holds regularly scheduled staff meetings.
- Maintain compliance with quality assurance processes as required by OHMAS. Assists with OHMAS audits. Ensures compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security policy and procedures.
- Review and assess clinical staff charting.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' substance abuse history, mental health status, and treatment needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances and goals.
- Provide evidence-based counseling and therapy to address underlying issues contributing to substance abuse and addiction.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups to promote recovery and relapse prevention.
- Monitor clients' progress throughout treatment, document treatment interventions and outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in the provision of care.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Licensed Social Worker - Chemical Dependency certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience providing substance abuse counseling and treatment services.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with clients.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations governing substance abuse treatment and confidentiality requirements.
