Inventory Coordinator
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for completing all administrative tasks given by the Inventory Manager; including creating pull logs, completing receiving paperwork, and cycle count product, responding to emails, creating spreadsheets within the 3PL system.
Essential Duties & Job Functions :
- Receives verbal instructions from manager.
- Lead by example and train new associates.
- Oversee and verify associate's work.
- Ensure good stock and avoid shortages / overages for customer product.
- Make system adjustments and corrections as needed in 3PL.
- Maintain logs and records of the department's inventory.
- Provide support to all Managers.
- Prints pull logs containing the locations, product description, and quantity needed.
- Manage department supplies.
- Prepare accurate weekly reports for IM of cycle counts needed / completed.
- Organize a filing system for receiving documents.
- Review receiving and return documents / processes to ensure accuracy.
- Provide administrative support to the Returns and Receiving Lead.
- Scans all Bill of Lading into computer and email to IM.
- Upload and email pictures of new products to IM team.
- Create department signage when needed using Microsoft Word and lamination machine.
- Respond to all emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Ability to operate equipment such as a standup / sit-down or scissor lift.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications Mandatory :
High school diploma required 5 years of related experience in an administrative role within a warehouse environment.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Computer-savvy and excellent in communicating effectively and professional via email.Proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, One Note, etc.) with a minimum of 5 years of experience.Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.Excellent work ethic; ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.Attention to detail and strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude.Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.Professional attitude and the ability to represent the company with integrity.Ability to work extended hours / over-time as needed.Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines.Preferred Qualifications :
Able to demonstrate a willingness to keep learning and improving.Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast paced environment.Work Environment :
This is a Atlanta based position operating out of a warehouse environment.Warehouse Environmental Conditions are as follows :Moderate noise level in the work environment.
The work environment is indoors.
Warehouse temperatures may vary depending on outside temperatures.
Physical Demands :
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and printer.Sight : Must be able to see well enough to read product lot numbers and expiration dates, read reports, and use a computer.Hearing : Must be able to hear well enough to communicate in person or via technology, and to hear warning signals of forklifts and warehouse equipment.Standing : Must be able to stand without assistance to perform job duties.Walking : Must be able to walk without assistance to perform job duties.Sitting : Must be able to sit for most of the shift without help performing job duties.Stooping, Kneeling : Must be able to stoop or kneel for short periods of time.Lifting : Must be able to lift 15 lbs. 50 lbs. to refill printer with copy paper, label paper, etc.Hand Mobility : Must be able to have mobility in hands to open and seal packaging, utilize keyboard functions, and utilize phone systems.Contingencies :
