The Material Specifications & Procurement Intern will support a critical project to review and update material specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistency across design and procurement functions. This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering and business, contributing to improved design assurance, procurement flexibility, and cost competitiveness.

Additional housing stipend from $1,500 to $3,000 depending on work and candidate's location.

Key Projects & Responsibilities :

• Review and update current material specifications to ensure they are accurate, consistent, and user-friendly for procurement teams.
• Standardize and simplify documentation for effective supplier engagement.
• Identify opportunities for cost competitiveness, leaner solutions, and standardization through Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA / VE).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and other stakeholders, to align on requirements.

Skills & Qualifications :

Starting pay of $22.00 / hr + overtime with opportunity to advance with our pay for skill system.
