Facilities Porter

Job Title : Facilities Porter Location : Cranbury, New Jersey Type : Contract Compensation : $18 hourly (up to $20 w regulated warehouse exp) Contractor Work Model : Onsite Hours : Mon - Thurs 7am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 5pm The Facilities Porter is part of the Facilities Maintenance team and is responsible for cleaning designated plant operating areas, rest rooms, labs, cafeterias and offices in order to assure the preservation and upkeep of the buildings, fixtures, and resident spaces of the organization. She / he complies with instructions and prescribed routines, methods or cleaning and disposal procedures in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Duties / Responsibilities : Cleans up and removes garbage from various locations throughout the company, including current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) area Sweeps and cleans floors as required and maintain other areas as needed in a neat and orderly fashion Keeps manufacturing , lab, cafeteria and office areas clean at all times Empties plastic bags from trash receptacles, tie and transport May be required to ensure adequate supplies are in stock May transport small equipment or tools between departments May set up tables and chairs in meeting rooms Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED Previous Porter or Housekeeping experience PREFERRED Ability to read and understand documents and then apply safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals REQUIRED Effective skills to work with others to accomplish job objectives REQUIRED Effective communication skills, both verbally and written REQUIRED Attention to detail and the ability to concentrate on specific tasks REQUIRED Ability and willingness to work additional hours as required by business needs REQUIRED System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
