The Remote Customer Data Entry / Billing Clerk supports Anytime Fitness operations by managing accurate member data, processing billing transactions, and maintaining up-to-date financial and customer records. This position ensures smooth and timely data flow between members, clubs, and the billing department.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at handling confidential financial information with accuracy and professionalism in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Record Management
Enter and update member information, billing details, and payment data into the club management system (e.g., Club OS, ABC Fitness Solutions, or Mindbody).
Verify the accuracy of membership records, invoices, and payment information.
Process new memberships, renewals, and cancellations in compliance with company policies.
Maintain organized and secure digital records of all customer and billing data.
Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
Billing & Financial Support
Prepare and process electronic invoices, payment adjustments, and refunds as necessary.
Monitor accounts for discrepancies and resolve billing errors promptly.
Coordinate with club managers and accounting teams to reconcile member accounts.
Assist with monthly billing cycles and ensure timely processing of all payments.
Communicate with members via email or phone regarding billing inquiries, payment issues, or account updates.
Customer Service
Provide excellent customer support by responding to member inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Escalate complex billing or data issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
Ensure member satisfaction by providing clear and accurate information about billing procedures.
Requirements
Education & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required or a related field preferred.
1–2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or data entry (remote experience preferred).
Experience in the fitness, hospitality, or service industry is a plus.
Skills & Competencies :
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Basic understanding of billing and invoicing processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data management tools.
Familiarity with club management or CRM software (e.g., ABC Fitness Solutions, Mindbody, or Club OS).
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Working Conditions
Fully remote role; requires reliable internet connection and a secure workspace.
Standard weekday business hours, with flexibility for different time zones if necessary.

Requirements
