Legal Secretary
We are seeking an experienced legal secretary to provide high-level administrative and litigation support to a team of trial attorneys in New York City handling complex, high-stakes commercial cases. Salary Range : $85,000$102,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule : Full-time, MondayFriday, 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid : After a 90-day onsite probationary period, schedule will transition to 4 days in office / 1 day remote

Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced administrative support to multiple attorneys, including drafting, editing, and formatting legal documents and correspondence.Prepare and e-file pleadings and other legal documents in state and federal courts (including ECF).Manage and organize client files, both electronic and hard copy, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.Maintain attorney calendars, schedule court appearances, hearings, and meetings, and track critical deadlines.Review and finalize documents for proper grammar, formatting, and court compliance.Assist with timekeeping, billing, and preparation of final client invoices.Coordinate attorney travel, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.Provide back-up support to other secretaries and administrative staff when needed.Perform additional clerical duties such as filing, maintaining office supplies, and handling expense reimbursements.Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal secretary supporting multiple attorneys.At least 3 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably within a large Am Law 100 firm.Strong knowledge of ECF filing, docketing, calendaring, and litigation procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and legal document management systems.Demonstrated career stability, with at least three years of tenure in previous roles.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and staff.Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed for trials, hearings, or arbitration.
