OT on a Exempt Full-Time Basis located CONUS - Washington DC Across The Mid Atlantic Region supporting Advanced Scientific Professional Staffing Support Services in the various areas of interest within the Medical Countermeasures field of Research and Development (R&D)/Analytical Research and Development (AR&D) of biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals supporting BARDA. These services are critical in support of BARDA's mission to conduct R&D and AR&D efforts to provide medical countermeasures that address the public health medical consequences of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) events, pandemic influenza, and emerging infectious diseases.
Seeking Onsite/ Offsite Travel Manager candidates with relevant Healthcare And Life Sciences Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Healthcare And Life Sciences Sector Clients such as HHS. JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Healthcare And Life Sciences (Onsite/ Offsite Travel Manager) in the Healthcare And Life Sciences Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Department of Health and Human Services (HHS - ASPR | BARDA) | HHS Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Center for Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) Generally Located In CONUS - Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region (Of Country/World).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Onsite/ Offsite Travel Manager | Healthcare and Life Sciences [HHS102007]
- Management of all travel requested by USG or Contractor staff.
- Provide routine training and guidance to all Contractor staff on the rules and procedures when traveling on behalf of USG!
- Process all travel requests promptly and efficiently in accordance with the terms of this contract and ASPR and BARDA travel procedures.
- Track all travel at all levels for reporting.
- Make every effort to maximize cost savings for all travel executed on behalf of USG.
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications For Onsite/ Offsite Travel Manager | Healthcare and Life Sciences [HHS102007] (HHS102007) Candidates:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Federal travel regulations
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience managing travel on Federal contracts for high-volume of staff.
- Minimum a bachelor's or higher degree or equivalent industry experience in Business Management, or related fields
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management or related fields, or equivalent industry experience.
Skills Required
Extensive knowledge of Federal travel regulations.
- Experience managing high-volume, complex travel for both CONUS (Continental US) and OCONUS (Outside Continental US).
- Proficiency in building and maintaining efficient systems for processing travel justifications and approvals.
- Strong organizational skills for tracking and reporting travel activities.
- Attention to detail to ensure travel requests comply with regulations and contract terms.

- Ability to provide training and guidance to staff on USG travel rules and procedures.
- Capacity to maximize cost savings for travel executed on behalf of the USG.
