Job Position Highlights: Contract/Program Name: USMC P&R RFE Security Clearance: Secret or higher Work Location: Hybrid (3 days a week at the Pentagon, 2 days remote. Initially, candidates will work onsite 5 days per week to learn the customer's operations before transitioning to the hybrid schedule). Work Hours: Core hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST; Employment Type: W2 only

Position Overview BizFirst is supporting our client in search of a full-time, permanent Financial Manager (Senior). This role will provide support for the Marine Corps' P&R Department by assisting with financial management and reporting activities that align with program objectives and federal guidelines. The role will work under the guidance of the Senior ERP Business Analyst, collaborating with stakeholders to support business processes, implement IT solutions, and utilize tools like Power BI for financial reporting.

Our client is a specialized management consulting firm that engages experienced professionals and consultants to support the federal government with strategic project execution, financial process optimization, advanced IT solutions, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation. Through innovative transformations, they develop and implement strategies to optimize operations for military departments and agencies across the U.S. Federal Government.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in ERP system optimization efforts within the Marine Corps' P&R Department, focusing on financial management and reporting.
• Contribute to developing and managing financial reporting tools like Power BI to support budget execution and basic financial analysis.
• Support stakeholders in gathering and analyzing requirements to ensure ERP system enhancements meet financial management needs
• Assist in monitoring budget execution activities for the Budget Execution Branch (RFE), providing support for accurate and timely reporting.
• Provide limited support to the Revenue Generating Program (RGP), focusing on advising about the financial management of funds from commercial vendor transactions.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 years of experience in financial management, business analysis, or a related field, preferably within a defense or federal government context. Experience with Power BI is essential.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Skills: Basic understanding of financial processes within federal agencies and experience using reporting tools like Power BI.

Desired Skills:

• DAI and Advana Familiarity with ERP systems and basic proficiency in integrating them to enhance budgeting and financial analysis processes.
• Ability to support multiple stakeholders and collaborate with government personnel and vendors under the leadership of senior staff.
• Strong communication skills to assist in preparing briefings and basic financial documentation for program support.
• Knowledge of the Department of Defense and Marine Corps' financial policies, procedures, and best practices is a plus but not required.
