Finnegan’s Mechanical Practice is seeking junior litigation associates in our Boston office.
Successful candidates must have 1-3 years of solid patent litigation experience, including researching and drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion papers. Experience in the mechanical arts combined with knowledge of computer technology, coding, and signal processing. Exceptional writing skills are a must. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree required.
Finnegan’s litigation practice covers all aspects of IP-related disputes, from complex patent litigation and appeals to high-profile trademark disputes. Our 230+ experienced litigators have handled hundreds of cases at all stages of litigation before courts and government agencies across the United States and in Germany and the UK. In the last five years, Finnegan has represented clients in more than 200 appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Whether enforcing IP rights or defending against infringement or trade secret misappropriation accusations, our litigation teams know the procedural intricacies and calculated risks to consider in business disputes involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, advertising, and trade secrets.

The base annual pay range for this role is between $225,000 - $260,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity. A full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
