We Are Hiring Location: Appleton, WI Facility: Ascension St. Elizabeth Department: OR Schedule: On-call | Primarily call coverage for GI | call starts at 1430 and ends at 0630 M-F and is 24 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday What You Will Do Ensure a sterile and fully equipped operating room environment, meticulously preparing the field for a safe and successful surgical experience. Facilitate the surgical procedure by expertly anticipating and passing sterile instruments and supplies to the surgeon and actively assisting with critical tasks, including the provision of hemostasis. Manage all surgical instruments, meticulously tracking and accounting for counts throughout the procedure to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and compliance. Support optimal patient care by assisting the surgical team with safe patient transport, correct positioning, and sterile draping before the start of the procedure. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences Must be a graduate of a surgical tech program.
