Seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to support a specialized sterile compounding pharmacy focusing on wellness medications. This role operates within a collaborative team of two pharmacists and two technicians, managing a volume of approximately 2,000 vials per week. The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for direct hire.
Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile compounding tasks in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain strict clean room protocols to ensure safety and product integrity.
- Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations.
- Manage workflow efficiently within the 4x10-hour shift schedule.
- Contribute to a smooth operation supporting wellness medication preparation.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time commitment.
- Generally 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts.
- Hours vary depending on compounding volume.
- Operations Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Qualifications:
- Current Pharmacy Technician license.
- PTCB certification required.
- Sterile compounding certification and hands-on experience.
- Strong adherence to clean room discipline and sterile technique.
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability essential.
