Job description
A company is looking for a Senior Medical Director, Gastrointestinal and Inflammation.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee medical safety activities and processes for assigned products, ensuring continuous assessment of safety profiles
Lead cross-functional teams in signal detection and risk management activities for assigned products
Mentor Global Safety Leaders and Pharmacovigilance Scientists regarding safety monitoring and risk management assessment
Required Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD) or internationally recognized equivalent, ideally with an Advanced Degree
8+ years of experience in Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Research, or Clinical Development
Minimum of 3 years of people management experience
Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory agency requirements regarding drug safety
Experience in a multi-disciplinary drug development environment with international exposure
