Job description

Senior Financial Analyst For Global Operations

The Senior Financial Analyst for Global Operations plays a critical role in supporting financial performance across manufacturing sites. This position collaborates with operations partners to provide insights, forecasting, and analysis that support cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and global scalability.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify and analyze trends, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis
  • Identify and report changes in methods and materials
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of reports and tools
  • Analyze the market and identify opportunities for growth and potential risks

Experience / Qualifications

  • A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
  • Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
  • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
  • Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and / or external customers
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for global manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain cost models to support strategic initiatives, capital investments, and operational efficiency programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate performance metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in an operations role a plus
  • Experience with Oracle EBS, Hyperion, Oracle Analytics Cloud a plus
  • Experience with financial modeling also highly valuable to the role
  • Base Salary Range : $84,500.00 - $116,160.00 At Sensata, our employees are the key to our success and growth.
