About the Role
We’re looking for an Operations Manager to be the connective tissue that keeps Sparrow running at full speed. You’ll work directly with the founders - particularly the COO - gaining first-hand experience in what it takes to build and scale a high-growth SaaS startup from the inside out.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who thrives in structured chaos. You’ll manage core operational processes across finance, reporting, compliance, and client operations - but you’ll also have the autonomy to identify inefficiencies, design better systems, and drive change across the business.
You’ll be at the center of it all - partnering with leadership, product, customer success, and finance to keep information flowing, numbers precise, and decisions data-driven.
What you’ll do :
Drive operational excellence : Strengthen how data, teams, and tools connect - ensuring smooth handoffs between Sales, Success, and Product, maintaining CRM and project hygiene, and identifying automation opportunities.
Collaborate and improve : Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to spot inefficiencies, propose solutions, and build scalable systems that make Sparrow faster, sharper, and more effective every day.
Run the numbers : Own key finance and reporting processes - from compiling lender data and tracking client payouts to supporting invoicing, reconciliations, and revenue insights that guide company decisions.
Keep us compliant and organized : Help Sparrow stay audit-ready by managing InfoSec questionnaires, access reviews, and key filings while maintaining clean, reliable documentation across systems.
You’ll Thrive Here If You’re a…
Builder : You love creating order from ambiguity and building systems that scale.
Self-Starter : You see a problem once and fix it before it becomes twice.
Analytical Thinker : You’re fluent in Excel or Google Sheets and use data to guide decisions.
Organized Operator : You keep information, projects, and people aligned. Sparrow | Human Resources
Strong Communicator : You value clarity, documentation, and follow-through.
Collaborative Partner : You’re energized by cross-functional work and thrive in a fast-moving, team-driven environment.
Curious Learner : You’re hungry to understand how the business works - and eager to take on the next big, hairy problem that comes your way.
You Bring
2+ years of experience in operations, finance, or consulting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive mindset and ability to work independently while staying collaborative.
