Quality Engineering Associate Manager
You will be the Quality Engineering Associate Manager for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of products and processes across the Missiles and Fire Control portfolio. As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading a group of quality professionals, driving technical evaluations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve quality excellence. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Manage and mentor a team of quality engineers applying principles to design, production control, and product evaluation.
- Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, and designs, ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality-related issues.
- Lead product failure investigations, material-review-board decisions, and develop corrective / preventive-action plans that meet reliability standards.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve internal and supplier performance, and evaluate quality systems for deficiencies.

Basic Qualifications :
STEM degree at Bachelor level or higher OR equivalent experience / combined education.Experienced Leader in Quality Assurance Processes, Practices and Procedures related to DOD contracts.Skilled in interpersonal communication which facilitates execution of cross functional goals.Skilled in driving the development and implementation of process improvements and quality systems in manufacturing process.Strong interpersonal skills that promote teamwork across multiple functions and motivate support personal to achieve common goals.Desired Skills :
STEM degree at Bachelor level or higher preferred.ASQ Certified Quality Manager.ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt certification.Experience in Quality Control environment of manufacturing facility.Strong understanding and working knowledge of MFC SAP and Apriso functions relative to the MRB process and the processing of hardware through the manufacturing and inspection steps in a factory environment.Advanced knowledge of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management Systems.This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
