Caregiver Needed for Franklin Area Client

Schedule: Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Hours: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Helping Hearts is growing, and we are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver to join our team in supporting a client in the Franklin area. This client requires full ADL support and is considered a fall risk, so we are seeking someone who is attentive, dependable, and able to provide consistent, high-quality care.

This position requires a caregiver who is able to work all three assigned days each week in order to maintain continuity of care and provide the client with a stable, familiar, and supportive routine.

What You’ll Do

Provide Full ADL Support with Dignity and Compassion

As a caregiver with Helping Hearts, you will assist the client with all activities of daily living, including support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, transferring, and other personal care needs. You will help ensure the client remains safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the shift while preserving their dignity and promoting the highest possible quality of life.

Fall Prevention and Safety Monitoring

Because this client is a fall risk, caregivers must remain alert, safety-focused, and proactive at all times. You will provide close supervision during mobility and transfers, assist with ambulation as needed, maintain a safe environment, and promptly report any concerns, changes, or incidents to the office.

Companionship and Emotional Support

In addition to physical care, you will provide meaningful companionship and emotional reassurance. Caregivers play an important role in helping clients feel respected, supported, and less isolated by creating a calm, positive, and encouraging presence in the home.

Light Housekeeping and Home Support

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, laundry, dishwashing, and keeping commonly used areas neat and hazard-free.

Meal Preparation and Daily Support

Caregivers may assist with meal preparation, snacks, hydration reminders, and general daily support based on the client’s preferences and needs. Attention to cleanliness, nutrition, and comfort is essential.

Observe and Report Changes

You will be expected to monitor the client’s general condition and report any changes in physical health, mood, cognition, behavior, mobility, or safety concerns to Helping Hearts promptly and professionally.

What We’re Looking For

Reliability and Continuity of Care

This role requires someone who is extremely reliable and able to consistently work every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The ideal applicant understands the importance of routine and continuity of care and is committed to being present and dependable for the client.

Caregiving Experience

Previous hands-on caregiving experience is strongly preferred, especially experience supporting clients with:

• Full ADL care

• Personal care assistance

• Fall-risk supervision

• Mobility and transfer support

• Companion care and home support

Professionalism and Compassion

We are looking for a caregiver who is patient, compassionate, observant, respectful, and detail-oriented, with a genuine heart for serving others.

Transportation and Dependability

Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to arrive on time for each assigned shift.

Additional Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must pass a comprehensive background check

• Must pass a drug screening if applicable

• Must provide five professional references
  No friends or family members

• Valid driver’s license

• Current car insurance

• Reliable transportation

• Good driving record
