This position is in a group that is responsible for technical accounting and oversight, along with accounting for corporate development activities (M&A). Accounting from due diligence to accounting for the purchase in conjunction with corporate development for acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, and strategic alliances. Monitoring (corporate oversight) of accounting around the globe. Month-end close coordination and quarterly reporting for a FedEx operating company.
To compile, analyze, and prepare financial and statistical information in support of accounting and financial analysis of FedEx companies, including consolidated reporting and/or reporting in compliance with SEC rules and regulations. To provide interpretation and support to users of financial statements. To support the design and enhancement of financial reporting systems.
