The posted compensation range of $15 - $19.81/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As our Nurse Assistant, you will help nursing staff deliver individual patient care so they can maintain standards of nursing practice and contribute to a compassionate, healing environment for patients, families, and visitors.
Every day you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure patient stability. You will be expected to adhere to St. Alexius Medical Center's mission and values, maintain quality of care according to policies, give personal hygiene assistance, assist with feeding, ambulating, and positioning, monitor vital signs and report changes, respond to call lights, maintain a safe environment, and document actions.
To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be listed on a Nurse Assistant Registry (or obtain placement immediately after orientation), possess good communication and interpersonal skills, be able to organize assignments and work under pressure, and obtain Basic Life Support Certification within the orientation period.
