What does a day in the life of a caregiver look like? Providing a helping hand.

• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Take clients to medical appointments, or grocery shopping

Caregiver Qualifications:

• You are passionate about helping others
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• You want to help your community and make a difference in someones life
• Have at least one year's recent experience as a caregiver/home care aide
• You are dependable and accountable
• Must pass a background check and/or have a current HCA Registration
• Must take or show results of a TB Test
• Have reliable transportation
• Can commit to training and on-the-job learning
• Are flexible - hours/schedules may vary from week to week depending on your availability and client needs
