The Opportunity: A travel specialist is required to guide, review, and assist in updating travel requests in conjunction with Booz Allen's policy and client requirements. The goal is efficiency, accuracy, and timely submittal of travel requests and documents. The travel specialist will aide with inputs to enhance the travel process. That's why we need you, a Travel Administrator who can review in entirety all documents of each travel request to ensure accuracy and completeness which will allow for timely approvals for internal and external clients.

As a Travel Administrator on our team, you'll review and aide travelers and leadership in revising all travel requests related to the Booz Allen contract. You will ensure all documents are populated accurately and completely while ensuring BIX database entries are processed timely. This role may include training team members on travel documentation such as travel authorization requests and OCONUS briefing materials to ensure all approvals are obtained within contract and client regulations. In addition, upon return from each travel occurrence, you will conduct follow-ups with travelers to ensure they submit their trip reports within contract timeframe and enter expense information into BIX. As needed, you will attend status meetings and brief issues or concerns you may experience per travel request to internal leadership and key stakeholders for guidance and next steps. On our team, you'll use BIX and internal team processes to track and communicate statuses, provide feedback, and gather metrics.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in travel and event coordination
• 3+ years of experience in trip report preparation and visit scheduling
• Knowledge of Joint Travel Regulation (JTR)
• Secret clearance
• Associate's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience utilizing BIX to assist in the travel request approval process
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree

Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
