Business Execution Consultant
In this contingent resource assignment, you will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives within Business Execution and identify opportunities for process improvements. You will analyze basic operational challenges, execute testing processes, and provide recommendations while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. This role focuses on validating check documents against MICR standards to ensure accuracy and processing readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute MICR validation testing on check documents using specialized scanning equipment.
- Analyze MICR line accuracy, including character spacing, alignment, and field positioning.
- Evaluate print quality, readability, and magnetic ink signal strength.
- Determine pass/fail outcomes based on established industry standards.
- Document test results, identify failure causes, and prepare summary reports.
- Maintain organized testing records and adhere to file management standards.
- Support recurring operational reporting and data tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share results and insights.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
- Experience in testing, quality assurance, or operations.
- Knowledge of MICR standards and check processing.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with check imaging, scanning, or payment processing systems.
- Banking operations experience.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
