Summary: Provides routine direct and indirect patient care in a hospital, clinic or home health care setting. All work performed is under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician.

Completion of an approved Nurse Assistant II course approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Current Nurse Aide II Listing Card with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Current Nurse Aide I Registry listing with the NC Division of Facility Services Registry as a Nursing Assistant I. Current BCLS certification.
Professional Experience Requirements:
Proficient in keyboard operations, application of word processing software, and basic computer applications. Ability to operate standard office machines. Incumbent will be required to take and pass a Medical Terminology and basic arrhythmia course if applicable during their first year of employment.
