Division Of Student Life Employee Experience Coordinator
The Division of Student Life Employee Experience Coordinator position is responsible for being a resource to Student Life departments to perform and provide guidance on staff and student-related personnel, position, leave and payroll processes. As a first point of contact for our Division partners, the SL Employee Experience Coordinator recommends and advises on general HR issues related to University staff, Classified Staff, Temporary Employees, Retirees and Student Employees. This position also advises on general HR questions that arise from our Division constituents, including but not limited to, leave, payroll, time- off, hiring and onboarding. This position will support the division by coordinating and assisting with leave-related processes (FMLA/FAMLI/OJI etc). The coordinator will liaise with central campus Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) and will also consult with other Human Resources centers of excellence to coordinate a wide range of HR services to Division constituents. The Division of Student Life consists of 30 departments that provide student support and services dedicated to helping students become successful, curious, competent individuals during their time at CU Boulder. The work in Student Life supports all factors of the student experience, no matter what department a staff member may work in. This includes where students live, eat, make friends, build professional skills and find help if they need it. Many departments provide involvement opportunities, educational resources and support services to help students find their community and build lifelong skills. Student Life also has shared services departments that support the work and staff of our student-facing areas, including areas like the Center for Assessment, insight and research, business services, finance, employee experience, communication and marketing and technology solutions. With over 900 staff members in the Division of Student Life, our diverse team is uniquely positioned to personalize the student experience and advocate for students, enhancing their success inside and outside the classroom.
Student Life Employee Experience provides information and resources to support staff in the Division of Student Life, including in the areas of performance management, professional development and more. The Division of Student Life is committed to providing excellent staff experience through positive staff engagement. This position will work a hybrid schedule with at least 3 days a week in the office. This can vary per business needs, specifically events.
The salary for this position is $54,600 annually. Onboarding assistance is available within Student Life division guidelines. Our outstanding benefits include:

- Bachelor's degree. Work experience may substitute for a degree on a year-for-year basis.
- 1+ years of job-related experience.
- Strong communication skills, including interpersonal communication.
- Communicate complex information, both written and orally to a wide variety of constituents.
- Ability to manage relationships and coordinate workflow with other departmental units.
- Ability to interpret and explain policies and procedures in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience working in Higher Education.
- 2+ years of experience with HR transactional support (payroll support, general HR inquiries).
- Knowledge and understanding of HR policies and procedures in a University environment.
- Experience with timekeeping systems (MyLeave, Kronos).
- Experience in a customer service role.
