Are you looking to work in a unique, high-energy environment? Derby Dinner Playhouse is seeking a hardworking and dependable Dishwasher to join our fast-paced dinner theatre kitchen team.
As a key member of our back-of-house staff, you ensure our kitchen runs smoothly by maintaining a steady supply of clean dishes and sanitized equipment. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys a team-oriented atmosphere, and thrives in the "dinner and a show" excitement of a high-volume venue.
Location: Clarksville, IN (Greater Louisville Area)
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Pay Range: $14–$16/hr
Sanitization: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly to meet health safety standards.
Station Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized dishwashing area and assist with general kitchen cleaning.
Equipment Care: Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment according to safety protocols.
Waste Management: Remove trash and recycling to maintain a safe and sanitary back-of-house environment.
Kitchen Support: Assist with basic food prep or kitchen setup during peak hours or as needed.
Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless operations during showtime.
Experience: Previous dishwashing or commercial kitchen experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate!
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable for scheduled shifts.
Pace: Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment.
Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (our primary show times).
