Job Title: Production Detailer.

Classification: Non-Exempt.

Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager, Production.

Position Type: Full Time.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.

Work Location: Headquarters, Kansas City, MO.

Job Summary: The Production Detailer will clean vehicles according to company standards or client specifications, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors, and keeping records related to gas levels and the condition of the vehicle. You should possess strong customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles.

Essential Functions:
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Deliver and execute high-quality cleaning and care of all new vehicles from the production line, ensuring ready for customer delivery
  • Willingness to comply with all company policies and uphold standards for service quality.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No.

Work Environment: Primarily indoors in a manufacturing environment, with time spent outdoors in lot, as needed.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Required Education/Experience/Certifications:
  • Prior detailing experience may be preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid state driver’s license with good driving record.

Travel Requirements: None.
