Construction Project Coordinator Wireless Infrastructure (DAS/Government Projects) Pay Scale: $24-$28/hr Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to support wireless infrastructure projects focused on DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems), small cell deployments, and government-funded telecommunications construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, managing documentation and submittals, supporting project managers, and ensuring compliance with state and local agency requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction project coordination, understands telecom infrastructure projects, and is highly organized when managing submittals, pay applications, permitting, and compliance documentation. Experience working with the State of California or other public agencies is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily activities for wireless construction projects including DAS, small cell, and tower deploymentsSupport Project Managers with scheduling, tracking milestones, and maintaining project timelinesManage project documentation including: RFIsSubmittalsChange ordersCloseout packagesCompliance documentation Prepare, track, and process pay applications and accounts payable documentation for government/public works projectsEnsure all project files and documentation meet State of California and public agency compliance requirementsCoordinate with subcontractors, vendors, municipalities, utilities, and public agenciesAssist with permitting and inspection schedulingTrack project budgets, invoices, and material procurementMonitor project progress and proactively identify risks or delaysMaintain accurate reporting and project updates using project management software and AI tools such as Microsoft CopilotSupport field teams and leadership with administrative and operational project needsHelp ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in construction project coordination or project management supportExperience in wireless telecommunications construction, DAS, small cell, or tower projectsStrong understanding of construction documentation and project workflowsExperience handling submittals, compliance documentation, and pay applicationsFamiliarity with public works or government-funded construction projectsKnowledge of State of California compliance and documentation requirements preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and Microsoft Copilot or similar AI toolsExperience coordinating with subcontractors, inspectors, and government agencies Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting telecom carriers or infrastructure vendorsKnowledge of prevailing wage/public works processesExperience with Procore, Smartsheet, or similar project management platformsUnderstanding of permitting and utility coordination processesAssociates or Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Business, Telecommunications, or related field preferred What Success Looks Like Projects stay organized, compliant, and on scheduleSubmittals and pay applications are processed accurately and on timeCommunication between field, office, subcontractors, and agencies runs smoothlyGovernment compliance requirements are proactively managedProject Managers can focus on execution because coordination and documentation are under control
