Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst will support the finance team by delivering detailed financial analysis, driving key business decisions, and collaborating across functions. This person will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance monitoring to help OpenTech Alliance meet its strategic goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and insights.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, pricing decisions, and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with business units (e.g., operations, sales, marketing) to gather financial data, analyze trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including leadership of certain segments and ensuring accuracy of assumptions.
- Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics, report on results and propose corrective actions when needed.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses (e.g., cost-benefit, scenario planning, sensitivity analyses) to support new projects and business cases.
- Ensure data integrity in financial systems and contribute to process improvements that enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Present findings to senior management, clearly communicating financial insights and recommendations in a manner that non-financial stakeholders can understand.
- Mentor more junior analysts and serve as subject-matter expert on financial best practices and tools.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance environment (non-investment banking).NetSuite and / or D365 experience is preferred.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, PivotTables, scenario tools). Familiarity with ERP or financial planning systems is a plus.Proven experience building financial models and conducting scenario / sensitivity analyses.Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills able to convert complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations.Experience working cross-functionally and influencing business partners.Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.Nice to have CPA, CFA or equivalent certification, or progress toward such credentials.Strong business acumen and comfort presenting to leadership.
