The Senior Financial Analyst will support the finance team by delivering detailed financial analysis, driving key business decisions, and collaborating across functions. This person will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance monitoring to help OpenTech Alliance meet its strategic goals.

Essential Job Functions

• Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and insights.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, pricing decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with business units (e.g., operations, sales, marketing) to gather financial data, analyze trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including leadership of certain segments and ensuring accuracy of assumptions.
• Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics, report on results and propose corrective actions when needed.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses (e.g., cost-benefit, scenario planning, sensitivity analyses) to support new projects and business cases.
• Ensure data integrity in financial systems and contribute to process improvements that enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Present findings to senior management, clearly communicating financial insights and recommendations in a manner that non-financial stakeholders can understand.
• Mentor more junior analysts and serve as subject-matter expert on financial best practices and tools.
