The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking Classification & Compensation Analysts to join our Human Resources Classification Team. These roles support DHS's classification and compensation systems through job evaluations, strategic consultation, and workforce planning. You'll be part of a team of skilled analysts and consultants who shape the agency's workforce through thoughtful job evaluation, strategic insight, and classification expertise. In this role, you'll help ensure fair, competitive, and well-aligned job classifications across the organization. This posting may be used to fill multiple vacancies. At least one position will be filled at the HR Specialist 2 or HR Specialist 3 level to ensure coverage and experience depth. Additional positions may be filled at the HR Specialist 1, 2, or 3 level depending on qualifications and team needs.

Degree Substitution :
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field (e.g., Psychology, Business Administration with HR emphasis, Industrial Relations, Organizational Behavior) may substitute for one year of professional Human Resources experience at the HR Specialist 2 or 3 levels
