LLAMA SAN in the West Village is the sister restaurant to Llama Inn and is a Peruvian-Japanese Restaurant led by Executive Chef Erik Ramirez. Our 60-seat open-kitchen restaurant serves as the backdrop for our innovative NIKKEI-inspired cuisine- awarded 3 NYT Stars and more. Llama San is a unique NYC dining experience where Nikkei cuisine meets masterfully crafted cocktails and intimate coastal wine list. We curate a serene experience unlike any other in the city.
We are looking to hire a Maitre D at Llama San. Our Japanese Peruvian (Nikkei) restaurant here in the West Village is seeking talented individuals with a passion for food and beverage. Llama San is a unique NYC dining experience where Nikkei cuisine meets masterfully crafted cocktails and intimate coastal wine list. We curate a serene experience unlike any other in the city. While additionally, unlike other formal restaurants, guests do not leave and go to dollar pizza.
Qualifications:
- Have a welcoming and kind demeanor with guests
- Clear phone communication skills
- Experience with Resy and managing a book is a must
- Able to handle a large volume of walks in for dinner and brunch services.
- Experience in an intimate dining room and/or a space with limited seating's
- Has the desire to be accommodating with guest requests, when possible, with efficiency and grace
- Familiarity with classic SOS
- Minimum 2 years-experience.
Location:
Llama San is hiring for a Maitre'd Position in Greenwich Village, New York City. Base pay starts at $20/hr.
