Overview Rate: $33.00/hour. The City of Florissant is accepting applications for the position of Part‑time Park Police Officer. Responsibilities The primary duties and responsibilities of a Part‑time Park Police Officer include the prevention and suppression of crime, the investigation of offenses and the arrest of offenders, the protection of life and property, and the preservation of peace. Requirements Applicants must be a U.S. citizen. Must be POST licensed. Have either a high school diploma or GED; an associate's degree or a minimum of 64 hours of college credit is preferred. Must pass written, oral, physical agility, background investigation, polygraph, psychological, pre‑employment physical and drug screen exams. Not to exceed 28 hours weekly.
