Foster & Adoption Specialist & Manager

Part-Time — Working from Home for the Right Candidate with in-office time for staffing and paperwork.

(Positions available in both Maricopa and Navajo Counties.)

Love of Children is looking for the right candidates to join our growing Foster & Adoption Program. The ideal person would have on-going licensing, Quick Connect, and recruitment experience.

This is a great opportunity for experienced licensing workers to get involved with a smaller agency and help make a difference for foster children. We are seeking candidates who are organized, efficient with their time and paperwork, and flexible with their work schedule to accommodate our families. Prefer BSW or related degree. Will consider foster parents with recent foster parent experience in lieu of working for an agency. We are looking for self-starters who are capable of working independently and with minimal supervision. Quick Connect experience and Foster Parent College certification a plus. Positions are based in either Maricopa or Navajo County.

Requirements :

• Prefer BSW or related degree
• Recent experience working for a foster care or adoption agency
• Will consider an experienced foster parent in lieu of working for an agency
• Experience with the on-going monitoring of foster and adoptive homes
• Experience with Quick Connect
• Experience with foster / adoption reports, paperwork, forms
• Experience with info sessions, intakes, home studies, recruitments, support groups
• Experience working with DCS, OLR, Behavioral Health agencies, and other partners
• Foster Parent College Training certification a plus
