Asset Protection and Safety Manager
This position provides evaluation, communication, coordination, recognition, and enforcement in the areas of safety, health, environment, and asset protection on a district level. This position works with Stores, and Corporate management to control inventory shrink, reduce damages, improve gross margin, minimize accident frequency rates on General Liability, Property, and Workers Compensation claims, improve execution of standard operating procedures (SOP), and ensure a safe environment for our customers and Team Members. Conducts investigations into alleged policy/procedure violations and theft, including conducting interviews and reviewing Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) necessary for same, and writing reports on information received. Physical travel to assigned and unassigned sites required on a daily basis for scheduled site visits, incident response and to maintain program standards for asset protection and safety programs.
Assesses procedures throughout assigned territory to ensure the protection of all Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay and its affiliated entities, including Team Members, customers, participants, inventory, cash, and equipment. Conducts investigations into alleged policy/procedure violations and theft, including conducting interviews and reviewing CCTV necessary for same, and writing reports on information received.
Responsibilities include executing the business plan and associated Asset Protection and Safety programs, responding to incidents, conducting audits, developing teams and partnerships, minimizing operational shrinkage, reviewing and analyzing activities, presenting Asset Protection cases, ensuring store compliance, acting as a liaison between Stores and Corporate, participating in District Management, detecting and resolving situations, ensuring physical security measures are in place, coordinating emergency response plans, reviewing inventory movement and damages, conducting Safety and Incident Reviews, reviewing communications for Asset Protection and Safety, attending meetings, maintaining safety programs, and performing other related duties.
Qualifications include an Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred, at least 3 years' experience in multi-site retail security/loss prevention, Microsoft office skills, ability to speak and read English proficiently, ability to prioritize duties, make appropriate decisions, use strategic thought process, analyze and interpret information, influence activities and results, valid drivers' license, ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
