Overview Loan Relationship Manager position in Waukesha, WI with WBD, Inc. This role supports SBA 504 lending and is comparable to a commercial portfolio management role in a financial institution. It is suitable for a credit professional who can independently manage complex loans from underwriting through pre-closing, while serving as a trusted resource to lender clients, borrowers, and WBD Loan Officers and support teams. Senior Credit Analyst candidates with strong SBA knowledge and credit judgment may be considered and developed into the Loan Relationship Manager role. Key Responsibilities Underwrite and analyze SBA 504 loan requests Prepare comprehensive credit presentations for loan committee review Identify and resolve SBA eligibility and credit concerns Prepare SBA applications, verifications, and Terms & Conditions Support loan closings, including credit assessment, loan modification requests, and project cost reconciliation Serve as a technical SBA resource to borrowers, lender clients, and WBD Loan Officers Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in commercial credit analysis, portfolio management, and/or commercial or SBA lending Strong financial analysis and credit writing skills Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with loan officers and internal partners Sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong professional communication skills Values credit quality and relationships; works well within an established, high-performing team Openness to coaching and ongoing skill development Desired Attributes Team-first mindset and strong collaboration skills Professional, positive, and self-disciplined approach Strong credit judgment grounded in the 5 C’s of credit Comfort navigating ambiguity within SBA guidance Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality work Why Join WBD Opportunities for career advancement Strong internal training and mentorship Collaborative culture with experienced professionals Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a respected economic development organization Competitive pay, incentive bonus program, comprehensive insurance benefits, 401(k) match, and generous PTO Flexible work arrangements available for trained personnel About WBD, Inc.
