A well-established, attorney-led tax firm is seeking a Junior Tax Attorney to join its growing team! This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who has a strong interest in tax law, IRS procedures, and client advocacy, and who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of complex tax matters while developing hands-on expertise and managing cases from inception through resolution. The firm provides exposure to a broad range of tax matters, including IRS collections, compliance, and advanced resolution strategies, offering a strong foundation for career growth in tax law and advisory services. Key Responsibilities Manage a high-volume caseload (60+ active cases) across various stages Communicate directly with IRS personnel, including ACS representatives, Revenue Officers, and PPS agents Prepare and submit IRS financial disclosures and documentation (e.g., Forms 433-A/B) Handle tax resolution matters, including: Offers in Compromise (OIC) Currently Not Collectible (CNC) determinations Conduct transcript analysis and financial evaluations Support audit defense, compliance matters, and FOIA requests Track case progress and provide regular status updates and reporting Participate in team meetings and case strategy discussions Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) required; bar admission in any U.S. state 0–2 years of relevant experience or strong academic background Demonstrated ability or willingness to quickly learn IRS procedures and tax resolution processes Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Exposure to complex or high-value tax matters Medical: PPO and HMO plans available (eligible after 120 days) Dental & Vision: Provided through Guardian 401(k): 3% employer match (eligible after 1 year) Paid Time Off: 0–2 years: 80 hours (2 weeks), 2–5 years: 120 hours (3 weeks), 5+ years: 160 hours (4 weeks) Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & Day After, Christmas Day We look forward to reviewing your resume! #J-18808-Ljbffr
