Key Responsibilities Possesses overall responsibility for continuous and efficient operation of the maintenance team within the facility(ies). Manages colleagues who troubleshoot equipment to ensure equipment downtime does not lead to inefficiencies or catastrophic failures. Reviews daily productivity reports and conducts daily visual inspections for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic problems. Develops and implements preventive maintenance and machine improvement programs, utilizing lean manufacturing concepts, techniques, and processes. Procures replacement tools and parts for manufacturing operations as needed. Oversees in‑house design, fabrication, and installation of equipment, and trains colleagues on proper use. Implements strategic direction for the maintenance team in alignment with company goals. Incorporates and ensures safety observances are met, including use of all PPE by colleagues, ensuring guards and safety features are working, and promoting good daily safety practices and habits. Communicates goals and objectives, applies company policy, staffs, trains, and coaches colleagues, reviews colleague performance, recommends salary increases, and administers discipline when necessary. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8–12 years of relevant experience. Knowledge and Skills Comprehensive knowledge and in‑depth understanding of manufacturing operations and maintenance concepts and practices. Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronic, instrumentation, and computer systems. Experience with assembling and disassembling equipment. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems. Excellent project management and planning skills. Strong problem‑solving skills. Excellent leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team. Compensation Compensation Range: $94,400.00 – $160,700.00 annually. Typical new‑hire range: $105,000.00 – $125,000.00 annually. Offers may vary based on market data, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Position may also be eligible for a short‑term incentive.
