You will acquire goods and service for the Government from commercial and non commercial sources when they are needed.
You will conduct contract analysis to include procurement of supplies, service, construction, research and development, and major systems using formal advertising or negation procedures.
You will serve as a recognized authority to develop and implement recommendations and solutions to contract problems, risks, and outcomes in the pre award and post award procedures to plan and conduct the contracting process.
You will plan, analyze or evaluate procurement programs.
You will oversee or ensure compliance with the terms of contracts; determine reasonableness of and negotiable claims; resolve disputes and other problems concerning obligations of either the Government or the contractor and negotiate modifications.
