Perform monthly bank reconciliations across all company accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner 2. Prepare and post inter-company journal entries, ensuring accurate elimination and reconciliation between related entities 3. Record and review monthly accruals (expense, revenue, payroll, and other) to ensure accurate period-end reporting 4. Own the month-end close process end-to-end, meeting established deadlines and maintaining a detailed close checklist 5. Prepare and analyze the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP 6. Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve variances 7. Prepare & file Sales & Use Tax, Personal Property Tax, and miscellaneous privilege /excise taxes 8. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation 9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of the close cycle 10. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; 3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes 4. Experience with inter-company accounting and multi-entity environments 5. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail 6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Interested in hearing more?
