The Role
We are looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager / Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys the technical side of insurance (market runs, quoting, processing renewals) and the client-service side (COIs, endorsements, and supporting producers with sales and retention). This role is flexible for Part-Time or Full-Time, depending on mutual needs and fit.
You'll be hands-on with both carriers and clients — ensuring smooth processing, accurate documents, and proactive support.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing & Quoting : Run market submissions, gather carrier quotes, compare proposals, and assist with renewal strategies.
- Policy Servicing : Process endorsements, issue certificates of insurance, and assist with policy changes.
- Renewals : Prepare and manage renewal documents, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
- Client Support : Serve as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day service requests. Escalate complex issues to producers and the active agency owner as needed.
- Sales Support : Assist producers with new business marketing, proposal prep, and follow-up.
- Documentation : Maintain organized files in the agency management system (EZLynx), track requests, and follow agency SOPs.
Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in commercial insurance servicing (CSR, Account Manager, or similar role).Active Colorado Property & Casualty license.Strong knowledge of certificates, endorsements, renewals, and market submission process.Comfortable working with carriers, underwriters, and clients directly.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities.Excellent communication skills — professional but approachable.Why Join Ascent?
