6+ years experience in a Functional / Business Systems Analyst role with expertise in Workday Financial Management modules (min.
3 years experience administering / supporting Workday Financials) Core Accounting, FP&A Reporting, Payroll, Timesheets, Professional Services Automation ("Projects"), Procurement, Contracting, etc.
Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting (revenue / payroll reporting especially) and automation of reports (mostly manual reporting to-date);
MUST have decent experience creating composite reports (pulling data from multiple areas of Workday) to help them with month-end closing challenges
- Need a person who can build and edit Workday functions / configurations, not just run functions already built
- Experience with BIRT would be very helpful; Workday Studio experience not required.
- Security admin experience - ability to set up security rights
- Thorough understanding of functionality and business process improvement through leveraging Workday's capabilities (their implementation was rushed and there's a lot of room for process improvements);
everything already implemented, but a lot of configurations / changes to make to improve processes / functionality
- Experienced with integrations with other systems / data sources; need to be able to build integrations from scratch and maintain
- Strong ability to partner with business stakeholders to understand "as-is" and "to-be" processes and define priorities for improvements in the system, then make configuration / code changes where needed and train users on new processes / tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professionalism is required
- Finance background helpful, but not required
