Recruiter I - Technical

CONTRACT LENGTH: 5 months
LOCATION: 5 days/week onsite in Seattle, WA
PARKING: Out of pocket expense to the candidate
HOURS: 40 hrs/week, no OT/Holiday, Mon-Fri core hours
PAY RANGE: $30-34/hr
WHAT TEAM IS THIS CONTRACTOR PART OF? Talent Acquisition team
TEAM FOCUS / KEY PROJECTS: Provides sourcing and recruiting support for the most highly specialized campus-level roles spanning Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotics, Silicon/Chip Design, and Quantum Computing. Delivers campus programmatic support including campus event strategy and execution, data reconciliation, and competitive intelligence. May also lead end-to-end recruiting programs with high-level business visibility. Team is focused on bringing in early-career talent at scale think internships, co-ops, new graduate roles, and university pipeline programs. They partner with universities, manage candidate pipelines, and ensure client is competitive in attracting top emerging talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recruit and interview potential candidates for open positions.
- Check candidate references and verify employment history.
- Extend offers of employment to selected candidates.
- Conduct orientation for new employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Perform exit interviews and process changes in employee status.
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Work under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS: 1 + years of relevant exp
- Sourcing and/or full-lifecycle recruiting experience in specialized tech domains
- Previous experience recruiting for competitor companies or highly technical fields, specifically hiring SDEs, HDEs, or Scientists
- Demonstrated end-to-end project management and data tracking capabilities
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a related area of specialty may be required.
- Skills: Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the recruiting field.
Candidates with no history of technical recruiting will not be a fit for this role.
