Healthcare Call Center Representative

Clifton, NJ | $24–$26/hour | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

A private healthcare organization is seeking a Call Center Representative to join its Revenue Cycle Management team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills who is comfortable discussing patient billing, insurance benefits, payments, and account questions.

What We Offer:

• $24–$26/hour, based on experience
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Overtime eligible

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding patient billing and account balances
• Explain statements, insurance payments, deductibles, copays, and coinsurance
• Provide basic guidance on out-of-network benefits and billing
• Process payments and assist with payment-plan requests
• Document patient interactions accurately
• Handle billing questions and route complex issues to the appropriate team
• Complete callbacks and follow up on outstanding issues
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow payment-security procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service or call center experience preferred
• Medical billing or healthcare experience is a plus
• Out-of-network billing experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional phone manner and ability to handle challenging conversations
• Strong attention to detail and computer skills
• EMR experience is a plus; training provided
