Overview
Front Office Coordinator - POST Rehabilitation and Wellness at Flagship Therapy. POST Rehabilitation and Wellness is an outpatient clinic providing Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services. The role supports the efficient functioning of the clinic and acts as the first point of contact for patients and visitors.
Base pay range : $16.00 / hr - $18.00 / hr
Responsibilities
- Patient Relations : Oversee and manage the front-end operations of the clinic; greet and assist clients; manage patient check-in and check-out; respond to inquiries, resolve concerns, and facilitate effective communication between patients and clinical staff; assist with general rehab tech duties and clinic cleanliness as needed.
- Appointment Scheduling : Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, optimize clinic resources; manage reminder system to reduce no-shows and cancellations; work with clinical staff to accommodate urgent and priority appointments.
- Insurance Verification And Payment Processing : Verify patient insurance coverage and ensure accurate billing information; address insurance-related issues with support from the clinic biller and AR resource team; collect and process patient payments and maintain financial records.
- Front Office Coordination And Record Management : Maintain a clean and organized front office; oversee inventory of office supplies and forms; ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into the electronic health records; safeguard patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; generate and analyze front-end reports to identify improvements.
- Collaboration With Clinical Team : Foster effective communication between front-end and clinical staff; participate in regular team meetings; coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and enhance patient experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role in a healthcare setting preferredStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent leadership and interpersonal abilitiesFamiliarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements preferredProficient in Microsoft OfficeExceptional written and verbal communication skillsRequirements
