Large manufacturing company in Peoria IL is looking for a Project Engineering Manager.
Looking for someone who has managed projects from start to finish and looking for someone can manage timelines and budgets.
Salary Range : $90k-$110k
Relocation offered as well

Responsibilities
- Manage equipment and engineering related initiatives with OEMs and external partners.
- Help coordinate timelines and responsibilities with lead engineers on internal projects.
- Drive accountability across the team and organization.
- Utilize best practices with PM tools to bring clarity on risks and timelines.
- Help establish best practices and procedures related to managing projects across the team.
- Ideate, research, run scenarios to effectively understand project schedules and resources.
- Provide project cost and labor estimates prior to start of work for project evaluation.
- Review project timelines with team members.
- Effectively communicate project schedules, scopes, and resources.
- Lead design reviews with both internally and externally as needed.
- Ensure the compliance of the manufacturing lines with all EPA, OSHA, and similar requirements.
- Seek to understand the complexity and constraints within a highly cross-functional organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of previous experience in manufacturing or project management.
- PMP certification is preferred, but not required.
- A background in business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis.
- Excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects, be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
Competency Requirements
- Demonstrated track record in manufacturing or project management.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in machining and fabrication is preferred.
- An inquisitive spirit to seek out improvements to existing concepts.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to partner with all levels of the organization.
- Must have a collaborative work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Ability to work within a highly iterative team environment.
- Fluent in office productivity tools Microsoft Office, Asana, etc.
- Prior experience in the rubber, paper, or silicone industry is a plus.
- Attention to detail.
