POSITION PURPOSE:
Position will shoot, record, edit, package, and deliver content that brings Indiana stories to life across all platforms of the Indiana Historical Society’s (IHS) content studio
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Produce and edit digital content
- Support podcasts production
- Identify and capture onsite footage opportunities for use in multiple platforms
- Perform other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Demonstrated experience producing and editing content
- Ability to shoot and edit videos, record clean audio, light interviews, and edit finished pieces for public use
- Ability to shoot and edit motion graphics, or willingness to learn
- Experience with editing software
- Commitment to responsible, inclusive, evidence-based storytelling
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends for the sake of capturing applicable footage
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Wrist & Visual Stamina – Ability to type and focus on a computer screen for prolonged periods of time
Physical Movement – Bending, Kneeling, and Crouching In order to reach & pick up items, standing for long periods of time
Strength – Ability to lift & carry items weighing up to 35 pounds

Over five years of applicable experience
